We have always thought into the future here at TLA, and when one of our customers asked what would happen to his TLA 60w Travel kit when its battery eventually failed, we wanted to come up with a solution for him. As usual, some phone calls were made and some brainstorming was done and here is what we’ve come up with.
For our customers, we are excited to announce that as of 01/05/2021, we will be stocking spare batteries for our 60w Portable Travel kits! This means, once your battery reaches the end of its life (in 2-5 years) we will be able to service your machine and swap it for you, you will just have to pay postage or come in and visit us!

In another exciting development, we have also partnered with a Gold Coast based scrap metal and battery recycling centre. This means that in a few years’ time when we start replacing these batteries, they will be 100% recycled! This is a really great outcome for the environment.
We estimate battery replacements will cost around $50Aud and will be able to clarify this as soon as we have had our first one back!
